In 2016 we will Reimagine Azamara with innovative transformations from bow to stern of our two ships: Azamara Journey^® and Azamara Quest^®. Our goal is to bring the organic essence of Destination Immersion^® onboard in inventive ways. These enhancements have been inspired by flowing waters, beautiful landscapes and refreshing earth tones, and incorporate a rich blend of contemporary and modern elements. We’re known for remarkable destinations, and our newest destination will be right onboard our reimagined ships.

Reimagine how you eat, drink, and have fun.

This delicious story of reimagination begins with exciting upgrades to the onboard dining and entertainment areas. The guest-favorite Pool Grill will be transformed into a sit down al fresco dining experience. White tablecloths and candles will set the mood while a refreshed menu will be served by our Pool Grill wait staff. It’s the ambiance of our indoor dining venues with an oceanside setting.

Our indoor dining venues are undergoing reimagination as well. Windows Café, our casual dining room, will be reinvigorated with recessed lighting, contemporary furniture and place settings that incorporate the colors and organic essence of Destination Immersion^® at your table. And if you’d like to enjoy your meal while watching the sun set, Windows’ outdoor eating area and Sunset Bar will be right out the backdoors, with a rejuvenated look and the same stunning views as always.

Head up to the reimagined Living Room for a new light dining concept and refreshed entertainment option. We chose the name for good reason. This relaxing area offers guests the comfort of a well-furnished space, with cozy chairs and sofas and a handcrafted wooden wine table. Sit and watch the ocean pass by, listen to an onboard guest speaker, or kick back with a novel. It’s an ideal meeting spot with plenty of space for the times you’d like a minute to yourself as well.

Did someone say “tapas”? From 4pm until 9pm each day, wine and tapas will be featured on the Living Room menu. Guests may choose from a variety of tasty hot and cold tapas offerings with a mix of Spain’s eclectic and sophisticated flavors. The onboard sommelier will be happy to direct you to the perfect red, white, or rosé wine or champagne.

From the dining venues to the entertainment areas, each will be transformed with a masterful eyes towards a modern design inspired by the remarkable destinations you’ll experience on your voyage.

The reimagintation continues with a full remodel to the spa. We’re relaxed just thinking about it.

The transformed Azamara Spa concept begins with a new name: The Sanctum. And it certainly lives up to its new title. The Sanctum spa will incorporate new programs with a focus on wellness and vigor. Guests can enjoy several holistic health and beauty treatments, combining eastern and western wellness elements. Aesthetically, The Sanctum will be revitalized with sleek wall coverings, new carpeting, windows and more.

But the very best part may be the new Club Spa Suites. Now you can visit the spa without ever leaving your room. These suites will be complete with lush new décor, modern lighting, refined carpets, custom designed fabrics and contemporary furniture. A spacious veranda with your private soaking tub overlooking the ocean, a masterfully designed bathroom with her and his sinks, rich wood grains, and a separate rain shower make these the most sought after rooms onboard. Suite guests will also enjoy exclusive amenities in addition to the standard and suite guest amenities.

The onboard transformation includes several behind-the-scenes upgrades and a new digital guest experience.

2016 is the year to stay connected, and the new Pervasive Wifi system will let you do just that. This update allows for better onboard internet connection and faster speeds that can even accommodate streaming video or downloading music. Keep in touch with your friends and family at home and post that travel selfie as soon as you take it.

Your stateroom now becomes a connection hub with the new interactive iTV. Watch movies on demand, browse live TV channels, quickly find security information & lecturer schedules, read up about upcoming ports, get weather updates, and follow the ship’s navigation, all from your in-room TV.

Be sure to venture over to Deck 4 to experience the new Inspiration Center. It’s the area with the huge 100” screen. You can’t miss it, nor would you want to. This large interactive display includes several content pieces you can explore to begin planning your next voyage. Swipe through the world map on screen to view videos, beautiful photography, destination information, and day-by-day itineraries for voyages that will take you to your location of choice. Go down a layer deeper and research Land Discoveries and other Destination Immersion experiences for specific ports of interests. It’s the giant touchscreen that can take places.
