You may want to spend 1-2 hours in St. George’s at which time you may get hungry. The marina has plenty of restaurants serving delicious dishes that will satisfy your hunger. After that, head to Fort Frederick and Fort George and learn about Grenada’s history and Market Square to learn about local spices.

Sunbathe on Grand Anse Beach

Grand Anse Beach is about six miles from St. George’s. You may reach it by car, minibus, or water taxi. If you want to have fun in the sun, you won’t be disappointed because Grand Anse Beach is a two-mile stretch of white sand that overlooks a blue-hued bay that’s filled with colorful fishing boats. Hotels, restaurants, and shops add to the scenery. But keep in mind that local vendors may be aggressive with their sales pitches.
